Our crazy families
We spent Christmas with my family up in NM again this year and had a great time.
We bought our Christmas tree this year from a tree farm in Oregon! (But they made camp here in Tucson) Real nice people and the tree is beautiful. Hopefully, Henry is mature enough this year not to destroy it…not holding my breath.
This Thanksgiving we decided to stay in Tucson and try our hand at making a nice turkey dinner. We invited Grandpa over along with our good friends Paul, April and Silas. I was hopeful that it would turn out OK, but the potatoes were drier than the Sahara and the turkey had absolutely no flavor. My gravy turned out to be a little too thick and by the end of the meal I could barely get the ladel out it without taking the whole boat along! Oh well…we learned our lesson and our guests were so nice and ate it up with sweet smiles so they wouldn’t hurt our feelings. 🙂 Even though the meal was lacking, the company made up for it! THANK YOU GUYS!
Mommy was down here for Henry’s b-day on Saturday and Mothers Day was Sunday so we all hung out which was a real treat.
Dad came down for a visit and we took him up to Mt. Lemmon and tooled around.
