Playpals

Once again, I apologize for the long hiatus in posting pictures of the little ones. We are both super busy but truthfully I’ve just been lazy about it. I promise I’ll try harder to get more of these up. =)

So we hired a maid…not really, but Henry has insisted on vacuuming the house whenever it needs it, which is actually really nice because he does a pretty good job! He also uses the swiffer in the kitchen to clean up the mess I make after sewing. He’s become a very responsible and helpful big brother. He’s constantly keeping Will in check and out of trouble. Although the other day, Will tried to get into the dishwasher and Henry tried to get him out only to be met with shrill screams and fierce resistance. Henry got mad, screamed “Bad baby!” and proceeded to spank him 3 times. I almost died and of course explained that WE are the only ones who can mete out the discipline around here but he just kept his eye on Will and eventually coaxed him out into the living room. Will LOVES being around him and is always following him around – and is able to keep up better now that he’s walking!

Our big trip to VT is just around the corner and we are really looking forward to it. I’ll try and get a couple more posts up before we leave. Hope all is well with everyone out there!

Henry fell asleep in our bed yesterday afternoon because he couldn’t go into his own room – Will was sleeping in there! The hot weather has been making them groggy and cranky. Really looking forward to this summer…(not really)

He literally fell asleep with his nose in a book
So sweet

Don't be fooled by this adorable smile - this kid is a little monster! I can't tell you how many times I've turned my head and he dissapears and then I find him rifling through the trash cans in the bathrooms trying to eat stuff!!! GAH!
Today it's only a marker that's going in that mouth...

Catch up post

I can’t believe it’s been so long since I’ve posted an update or any pictures of the kids. I took a lot during the month but just never got around to posting them, so here’s a catch up post with some pics that I took during April. Will’s already getting another tooth and is almost walking – Henry started preschool about 3 weeks ago and LOVES it. Our mudder race is coming up in less than 2 months and we still haven’t started running!! Yikes! After next weekend though, we’re going to start. We’ve been climbing every other day at the gym and staying in pretty good shape (except for Tommy’s finger) so hopefully it won’t be too hard to transition into some running workouts. We’ll see though – it’s already hot here. Ugh. We’ll let you know how it goes.

Happy Birthday Henry!!

Henry turned 4 yesterday!! We just chilled at home and had a nice relaxing day. After preschool, we had lunch with Uncle Mike and then Grandpa came over later to give him more presents. He got some really cool stuff – like always. =) Holly sent him a really annoying card and some money and Uncle Mike got him some bubbles and a car. Last Wednesday, we took him to this place called Pump It Up. It’s a party place where kids can play on giant inflatables. We did that for 2 hours as a little pre-b-day for him. He had a blast and wasn’t too happy when we had to leave. We’re going to try and do that a couple times a month if we can. It’s great because we can ALL do it. It was fun to play and jump around. You don’t get to do that as much as an adult. =)

Happy Easter!

This was the first Easter we really celebrated. We dyed eggs last night with the boys and then hid them this morning for Henry to find. He had fun. Happy Easter!
